This website used to be hosted from a Raspberry Pi. I ran with a dynamic public IP from a home router and never had problems. I had to move to cloud hosting when I moved house. Maybe one day I will move back onto the RPi.

Website is back in my kitchen, great. Website is back on AWS :( I got too scared of exposing my router to the public internet.

Also built a NAS, nice for storing files. NFS is no good! Samba works OK. You can see the IR LED used to control my projector and NAD amplifier using lirc. This nightmare has been properly insulated since I took the photo:
